You can complete your course in our purpose designed training facility or partially in your workplace.

About our forklift course

Our courses are designed to suit individuals based on their experience of operating a forklift and there English comprehension levels.

Standard course is designed for those that have little to no forklift operating experience with a good command of English.

Advanced course is designed for those that have over 12 months forklift operation experience and have an excellent command of English.

When do our courses run?

WEEKDAY COURSE: $270 - Held 8.30am - 4pm commencing every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

WEEKEND COURSE: $320 - Held 8.30am - 4pm commencing every Saturday (then Sunday).

 

NIGHT COURSE: $320 - Held 5pm - 8.30pm commencing every Tuesday (then Wednesday & Thursday)

Standard Course is 2 consecutive days training plus 1 full day assessment.

Advanced Course is 1 day training plus 1 full day assessment.

Assessment days are held between 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Saturday (plus occasional Sundays) (Assessment days are subject to availability)

On confirmation of booking, participants will receive an email link which will provide immediate access to their course materials. Participants undertaking the advanced course are required to prepare for the course by reading the pre course material and answering some simple questions.

Where is the course held?

The courses are run at our purposely built training centres located in Bankstown and Blacktown. However you may also complete part or the entire course at your workplace subject to some workplace conditions being met. 

What is covered?

During this course you will gain (or refresh) the knowledge and Skills required to safely and effectively operate a forklift truck including.

Once you have successfully completed the course and the required assessment then you will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the unit:

TLILIC2001A Licence to operate a forklift truck as well as an interim licence to immediately commence operate a forklift. This will allow you to get your photo licence from your local Post Office.

Options for flexibility

If you require additional one on one time with the trainer to increase your confidence then this can be arranged (fees apply). The course is designed to help you succeed without additional training.

 

What Do Participants Need to Bring?

  • Your pre course information and your answers to some of the simple questions set (for advanced course participants)
  • Appropriate clothing based on weather conditions and common sense
  • Closed Shoes (no thongs or open toe shoes) – preferable hard caps
  • A pen
  • Your ID – special ID requirements have been set out by work cover – click here for ID requirements
